Laura Silva-Reyes is a vaccine immunologist working on the characterisation of the immune response elicited by vaccines tested in clinical trials.

She joined SpyBiotech in early 2024 from Adaptimmune. Prior to this, Laura worked for eight years at the Oxford Vaccine Group on the development of vaccines and their transition to clinical trials. Over the years, she has been involved in multiple trials testing vaccines against a wide range of pathogens including RSV, Ebola virus, Yersinia pestis and SARS-CoV-2.

She holds a Master’s degree in Infectious diseases from the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, France.
